When will Goarma version 1.0.42 be released!

It´s such a great program and I would love the bug fixes to be corrected as shown fixed in the Goarma 1.0.42 version.

The problem for me and others in my squad is we use our use names contain a full stop in it.

eg Pye.Phx.pvt when this is done in goarma. It created profiles with %2 ie. Pye%2phxp%2Pvt in the game and some of our squad could not change it back without problems.

Also my other problem was with folder names . for example XAM1.4 is only shown in Garma as XAM1 .Leaving the " .4 " and XAM mod seems to need XAM1.4 exactly.

I have created workarounds for these. but as I want to get all our squad members using it. Mainly because it´s so easy to use. Some of them are so Computer illiterate that this new version is needed.

Suggestion: I found a link on the internet that helps me run it with any betas.
First I had to create a cmd script file in a text editor containing only one line

start beta\arma.exe %*

the file is saved as Armabeta.cmd and saved in the arma folder. Then when Goarma uses this it´s executable (insteat of c:\ArmA\beta\arma.exe it runs the beta arma correctly with it´s mods. if this part could be included so those running client mods also with the beta. can easily choose. As the pull down list forets the armabeta.cmd file I created awhen switchinh between Arma & Arma Beta.

I would love more of our squad to use this little gem but some are not very good with the pc use.. And this new version would allow me to get them on it without any problems.

Please post when it will be released or if the project has ended

the development has not been stopped, it has just halted since we recently went through some hardware changes and other clan-related things. I think Cyclone, head dev with this project, will give you a detailed answer once he's back to the forums. So have some patience please

I'm glad to hear that you like goArmA. This weekend we plan to have a closer look at the current development version of goArmA to check whether it is ready to be released as version 1.0.42 or still needs some fixing. As it's quite some time ago since I was working for goArmA I can not give you a precise release date right now. But we will keep you informed.

I Just thought of another improvement. If the faces folder could be chosen by the User and not hidden so deep in
c:\documents and settings\profile name\Applications\Goarma\faces.

I do like the other features you have in the program. It´s a very well thought out project.

I've just completed a reinstall of windows and Armed Assault and your latest version of Goarma installs and runs great first time. finding all my mod folders automatically is fantastic
